tutorial 2
How to go from Image hosted by Photobucket.com to Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I thought I´d write another tutorial. Hope you like it and that it´s easy to follow. ;-)

Just to let you know, I am german. So, my english might not be perfect. My program also is in german and I hope that I can find the right translations!

I am using psp7 and animation shop 3, so the tutorial will be made for these programms. But I hope that it is transferrable to other programs.

1. open this base Image hosted by Photobucket.com (I got it from [info]cordy_stillness for a challenge) and sharpen it once.

2. Now we are going to soften Charismas skin and sharpen her eyes and lips. To do this zoom in the pic once or twice. Choose the lasso-tool (I hope it´s called this way in english, too.) and mark her skin.

Then go to effects and choose soften.

After that mark the eyes the same way and go to effects, where you choose sharpen. Do this as often as you like. Just check when it looks good to you. ;-)

Do the same with the lips.

Don´t forget to save from time to time. My psp tends to crash on me, so it´s good to safe everything as often as possible. ;-)

3. Make a new layer and fill it with a light brown colour. Then set the layer to multiplcation. Make another new layer, fill it with a light blue colour and set it to burn.

4. Add this texture Image hosted by Photobucket.com (made by [info]myrasis) as a new layer. Then mirror it (I hope that´s what it is called in english. Basically it puts what´s on the right to the left and vice versa). Set the layer to overlay 73% opacity.
Some of the texture looks weird over the face. Mark the face and hair with the lasso tool and erase the texture there.

5. Add this texture Image hosted by Photobucket.com (made by [info]myrasis) as a new layer. Then set it to screen. Set the layer to overlay 73% opacity.

6. Add this texture Image hosted by Photobucket.com (made by [info]myrasis) as a new layer. Then set it to screen. Set the layer to overlay 73% opacity.

7. Add a new layer. Open this texture Image hosted by Photobucket.com (I don´t know who made it. Found it on the net a long time ago. If you made it let me know and I will credit!)

Add this brush Image hosted by Photobucket.com to your brushes. Set it to 100%.

Then choose the texture as pattern to make the frame with.

Set the frame brush on the new layer and you are done.

I hope this tutorial is understandable. If not just ask and I´ll try to explain better!

thanks soooo much! I´m glad you like my graphics. I´ll surely make more as soon as I got a new screen for my pc. Mine seems to be kinda blurry, which affects my graphics. :-(
